Week 10

So, update! Winston and Ali are still going strong as ever! Nick and Caroline are too doing phenomenal! Now I, unfortunately, am a pretty picky person who doesn’t like other however Ali and Caroline are both incredible girls and could ask for a better fit for my main boyz. However, this week is not all sunshine and rainbows… Coach decided it would be a good idea to leave for California for a work trip and abandon me with these lovebirds!!! I mean without my co-captain what the freak am I supposed to do!?!? Hopefully, I can survive a few more days on my own.


Now for my funny story! Now, this happened about a month ago, but I didn’t have a good chance to tell you all about it until now. So, to start off we have another close friend who for the time being well call Jess (even though that name doesn’t really fit…) So Jess parents were leaving town for a week and asked if they could stay with us so of course, we said yes think nothing would come from it and now, for the most part, it was true life was great it was awesome having Jess there all the time to hang out with but that all changed when the fire nation attacked! Sorry I mean that all changed when Utah decided to throw a curve ball at us! So WhileJess was staying with us I slept in the family room on the couch and they slept in my room (because I'm just a homie like that) So how we made it work was the night before id go get all the clothes I would need for the next day and whatever else I may need! However, that Friday I had to do a presentation in my Social Media Marketing class, so I had to wear business formal clothes and when I woke up I realized I grabbed the wrong color of belt!!! And we all know that a huge no no! (oh, and it's important to note that for some reason I have this weird thing about waking other people up like I am incapable of doing it) so I figured I would sneak into nicks room and take one of his but luckily for me, he locks his door when he sleeps! So, I came up with a backup plan that I would quickly drive to my parent’s house and take my little brothers! So, I go back downstairs to finish getting dress and I realized I forgot my pants too! So now I'm wearing my button up shirt with some basketball shorts I was sleeping in. I run outside to start my car and it starts snowing. I get into my car put the key in the ignition, and nothing! Batteries dead… So, most of you would probably think id go wake up one of my roommates to give me a jump but Nope! Not me! I can’t wake others up, so I jump out of my car and start walking to my parents’ house which is only about a five-minute walk from my apartment. And at this point it's snowing pretty hard and I'm I think justifiably upset but I get to my parents house and grab some cables and take my dad’s truck so I can jump my car and I'm in a hurry because I have like 15 minutes until I have to leave so I can catch my train to school. Now I learned something cool when I tried to jump my car. Sometimes when your battery dies it will reset your security system causing the alarm to go off as soon as it gets any power… So, now that’s happening and I didn’t want to wake up my neighbors  and or get the cops called on me I stopped trying to jump it now at this point I've missed my train so now I have a little extra time to get ready because usually, It takes way less time to drive than to take the train. Usually. So, I go back to my apartment to eat some breakfast and work on my presentation when Jess wakes up and comes out for some food… “Now you wake up?!?!?!” I thought to myself. Now at this point, you are probably thinking it can’t get any worse? If that is the case, then you are terribly wrong! After getting everything ready now wearing my own pants and have the right color belt I hop in my dad’s truck and take off now unknown to me it had been snowing up north for a little bit at that point and because of that the regular 30 to 40-minute drive took me 2 ½ hours to get to SLC. And on top of that literally the only reason I was going was for this group presentation and upon arrival, I find out our group's presentation had been pushed back because some couldn’t make it in the snow…. Man, what a Day….

Final Blog

Final Blog… Now for the time being this will probably be one of my last installments. Unfortunately, my Class is ended and honestly, I'm not sure I have the self-discipline to keep this up… But I will try to make this a special one! For this entry, I will share one of my favorite experiences with the final “Bro-Mate” Winston. First off, I will start with Winston now this is a hard one to choose because me and Winston somehow have the wildest adventures from seeing bigfoot to finding a secret waterfall or simply making his room a potential bomb but to keep this short I think I will share one of the first times we played frisbee golf. Week 2

Another week down. Luckily for us this week was very calm and quiet. No parties, no problems, and no PARTIES! Most of the week consisted of us just hanging around and spending time with each other and going to the movies. So quick rant, about a month ago we all purchased whats called a Movie Pass and for those who don't know what that is, You pay $10 a month and can see a movie every 24 hours. Now, your probably thinking theirs a weird catch or a hook but you are wrong my friend. It really is too good and true!! and another cool thing about it is here in Utah every Tuesday is $5 Tuesday where any regular ticket just cost five dollars. So because they still just load $10 onto your Movie Pass one Pass holder can get two tickets!! seriously this thing is incredible!!!! If you think you'll see more then 12 movies this year, save yourself some money and sign up!!  Now that I got that tangent out of the way...
