What Next?

Man, this week proved to be yet another exciting week. So if you haven't already guessed our apartment is fairly old and has its fair share of problems which one gets used to. Well its either that our you debate burning the mother to the ground. So thus far we have been able to look past all the imperfections and focus on the positive side, however, there was a point in the week was I think the "imperfections" got to all of us. so to start us off since we move in our oven hasn't worked, the stove top works just not the oven, this has been frustrating because its a brand new oven and should work perfectly, so over the past few weeks our landlord, bless his heart has been trying to figure out the problem and get it all sorted out for us but him living 4 hours away and being 90 years old is having a hard time working this all out. next on the list is all the power outlets. from what I can tell they are all from the late   Cretaceous period. No matter what you do an...

Week 2

Another week down. Luckily for us this week was very calm and quiet. No parties, no problems, and no PARTIES! Most of the week consisted of us just hanging around and spending time with each other and going to the movies. So quick rant, about a month ago we all purchased whats called a Movie Pass and for those who don't know what that is, You pay $10 a month and can see a movie every 24 hours. Now, your probably thinking theirs a weird catch or a hook but you are wrong my friend. It really is too good and true!! and another cool thing about it is here in Utah every Tuesday is $5 Tuesday where any regular ticket just cost five dollars. So because they still just load $10 onto your Movie Pass one Pass holder can get two tickets!! seriously this thing is incredible!!!! If you think you'll see more then 12 movies this year, save yourself some money and sign up!!  Now that I got that tangent out of the way... Going to movies has become a favorite pass time for my roommates and me. ...

Week 1

Welcome back to another installment of our life here in the Brome! This week we had a few high lights worth mentioning! For starters we invented a new game called "Balls Up" (patent pending). Around 11pm Coach nick and myself found a small red inflatable ball about the size of a soft ball but the thing is none of us have a clue of where this thing came from! but anyway we were sitting around kind of just tossing the ball around when BOOM! It happened! a new game! remember when you were a little kid and anytime you found a balloon we all played then game of "keep it off the ground as long as possible"? yeah that what this is but with a ball instead of a balloon.  And let me tell you its surprisingly fun! the other high light was our outrageous housewarming party!! Now i wouldn't call any of us huge party guys however that may very well have been the party of the year! Originally we had invited probably 10 other people over but as the night went on we hit a gr...

The Brome

The Brome. The name my Room mates and I came up with for our new apartment. It is a combination of bro and home or bro and dome! For this weekly blog I will be sharing different stories and experience that can only come from four 20 year old guys living together. To give these stories context here is a brief description about the four of us. For the sake of there identities and personal lives I have changed there names. Rusty  I like to think I am a fun loving guy! however I try my absolute best to make sure those around me are laughing and having a good time! Some might say, "I have to be the center of attention" which is probably true but is it such a bad thing when all I'm trying to do is entertain those around me? Coach  Now Coach is an interesting fit. Out of the the four of us he is by far the most introverted, now let me explain how this is a huge benefit. For someone like me who is more extroverted I tend to jump in to situations and problems without taking ...
